| Shared note | Emil DeRouin recalls Henry was a cook in the Army during WWI. When he got out he claimed he was "shell shocked". Joseph DeRouin, his brother, asked him "Shell shocked from what? Cracking eggs?" Emil DeRouin also recalls Henry having a son named Henry, one named Walter, and a daughter referred to as "Pittery". Not sure if that was her real name. Emil DeRouin also recalls Uncle Henry never worked a day in his life, collected and sold buttons among other odds and ends. |
